Microsoft MFA has been activated, and you should now start getting authentication requests via your chosen MFA method.
If you are experiencing log on issues, please close and reopen your browser window, or use your browser private mode.
We expect these authentication issues to be temporary.

This is a reminder that on Friday, 12th June IT Services will switch off PingID MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) for staff, and move to Microsoft MFA.

Staff: Microsoft MFA
Staff should enrol without delay for Microsoft MFA to continue to gain access to University services:

You can also use this link if you ever need to update your University MFA information.

After visiting the page click on the plus icon (view image) - and choose your preferred authentication method and follow the on screen instructions.
Once enrolled, no further action is required. We will transfer your account away from asking you to authenticate through the ‘PingID’ method, and onward to using the Microsoft method. This process is just the authentication; all your other services remain unchanged.
To refamiliarize yourself with MFA and how it works, please review our Help guidance: https://help.chi.ac.uk/docs/mfa/
